Preceding the AFL's Multicultural Round 17 this weekend, Tiffany Cherry presents Flash Footy on Wednesday July 13 at 7 pm.

Recognised as one of Australia’s most educated television presenters, Tiffany is now becoming acknowledged as a talented producer.

On Wednesday, she presents part 2 of her series, Flash Footy. This episode explores the world of some of the AFL’s multicultural heroes.

Collingwood premiership star Harry O'Brien, Tiger Bachar Houli and the first Irishman to ever win an AFL premiership, Sydney Swan Tadhg Kennelly join Tiffany and a host of AFL Irish recruits, legend of the game Kevin Sheedy, West Coast Eagle Nic Naitanui, Canadian Mike Pyke and high profile AFL recruit, GWS Giant, Israel Folau in celebrating the cultural diversity of our great Indigenous game, Aussie Rules.

Similar to the content of the first episode of Flash Footy, which celebrated the game's Indigenous players, this 30-minute feature showcases the changing face of the AFL, reflecting the cultural diversity of Australia.

‘Players tell their stories from grass roots to the top tier covering all topics from their journeys, culture, the difficulties they have had to overcome and how the game of Aussie Rules has helped them integrate into Australian society.’ says Cherry.

The AFL's inaugural Multicultural Round this weekend illustrates the game’s ability to transcend all boundaries and unite a multitude of colours and faces under one banner.
