The panel said that Rocca made contact with Domenic Cassisi's shoulder when he bumped the Port Adelaide player but there was no contact to the head and the contact did not seem excessive in the circumstances. As such, further no action was required.
The match review panel assessed incidents involving Collingwood and Essendon players this weekend earlier than usual so they can be dealt with before Wednesday's Anzac Day match.
Essendon's Mark McVeigh was charged with making an obscene gesture to the crowd during the match against St Kilda at Telstra Dome on Saturday.
As it's his first offence, he can accept a $900 fine with an early plea.
Earlier today, McVeigh made a statement in relation to the gesture.
"I want to apologise for my actions. No matter how frustrated or annoyed I might have been, what I did was inexcusable," McVeigh said.
"I have a responsibility as a role model and it is a responsibility I take very seriously. I have let myself, the club and our supporters down."
All other incidents from the weekend's matches will be assessed on Monday as usual.
