The duo received the honour with Paul Wheatley and Matthew Whelan, who both retired at the end of the 2009 season. The quartet was drafted in the 1999 AFL Draft and debuted in 2000.
Bruce, who was Melbourne's vice-captain last year, won the Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Memorial Trophy in 2008 and played his 200th AFL match in 2009. Green enters the 2010 season just two games shy of his 200th appearance.
Wheatley played 135 matches and Whelan 150.
During a series of presentations, the Demons also announced their remaining new guernsey numbers for 2010. The new recruits received the numbers from some of their previous wearers, including Jordan Gysberts, who received No.5 from former holder David Schwarz and Max Gawn, who took No.37 from club president Jim Stynes
In other number changes, Liam Jurrah has received No.24 from another high-flyer, the retired Russell Robertson, and defender Matthew Warnock gains the No.1 jumper, worn by Denis Cordner, Gary Baker and Steve O'Dwyer.
Melbourne also made a special presentation to 1955-56 premiership player Stuart Spencer, who was also a dual best-and-fairest winner in the same seasons.
A former Melbourne president, Spencer is also a Legend of AFL Tasmania, as well as being in the Australian Football and Melbourne Hall of Fames. He was also named in Melbourne's team of the century and is a 150 Hero member.
Melbourne supporter Joe Cardamone also received the Volunteer Award for his efforts towards 'Dudley's Raffle'. He also coordinated a group of match day volunteers and assisted at club functions.
Beth Lockhart presented the award, after it was instituted in honour of her late father Gordon.
