Off the back of the club announcing membership figures smashing the 40,000 mark well ahead of last year’s totals, intensity ran at a constant high during Monday’s training session at Gosch’s Paddock.

Under the watchful eye of head coach Mick Malthouse, the players trained for over two hours running through midfield and goal kicking drills.

To the delight of many of his teammates, Brad Dick participated in several of the drills and appears to be on track for a return in the first half of the season after sustaining a shoulder injury in Arizona.

Dane Swan, Scott Pendlebury and Luke Ball worked in unison during many of the drills moving the ball by hand.

The session ended with a short goal kicking drill followed by a light weights program back inside the Lexus Centre.

The team will hold another open training session on Friday morning at Gosch’s Paddock scheduled for 10 am.  Please check back to collingwoodfc.com.au for updated times.
