FREMANTLE coach Mark Harvey is expecting a fired up St Kilda on Sunday at Subiaco Oval but is confident his side can continue its enterprising end to 2008.

Harvey will look closely at how West Coast beat St Kilda in Perth two weeks ago and will try to pick up some weaknesses from that, but is expecting Saints like Justin Koschitzke, Steven Milne and Nick Dal Santo to have big games after being heavily criticised of late.

"It's very similar to last week (against the Swans) when we were coming up against a side that was playing for a spot in the finals and we rose to the challenge there. The fact that it's back here at Subiaco puts a lot of pressure on St Kilda with them knowing they didn’t perform that well two weeks ago," Harvey said on Wednesday.

"St Kilda has copped a bit criticism this week and you also have to be wary of that, specifically players that have been singled out. They are the ones that you have to be very careful of because they have a lot of pride and want to prove everyone wrong."

Josh Carr and Brett Peake are doubtful to play this week after pulling up sore from the loss in Sydney on Saturday night, but Des Headland is a great chance to play his first game since round four if he looks good at training on Friday.

"We haven’t come to the final conclusion that he is playing. He will train in the main session on Friday and we will decide after that," Harvey said,

"He will be in the 25, but we won't decide until Friday. He is still working on getting his quad strength back, which can be a problem after a knee operation, and we will weight that up," he said.

"He's one of those guys that has the magic that you look for and has the ability even at 90 per cent to more than hold his own.

"He has dedicated his whole rehab to getting back to playing this year. He has trained his backside off because he loves playing and you don’t deny a guy a chance to play if he's right."
