BACKS
Corey Enright (Geelong) – Collected 30 disposals, used the ball with excellent efficiency and was instrumental in Geelong's thrilling two-point win over Adelaide. It was up there as one of his best performances for the season.
Darren Glass (West Coast) – Marshalled the troops and played a key part in keeping the Dons to just 10 goals.
Greg Broughton (Fremantle) – Notched up a career-best 33 disposals and had a game-high eight rebounds against the Bulldogs.
HALF BACKS
James McDonald (Melbourne) – Had his best match for the season and rivalled Richmond's Ben Cousins as best-on-ground. He started in the middle and then shifted to defence, finishing with 28 touches, six inside 50s and four rebounds.
Craig Bolton (Sydney Swans) – Locked in a enthralling duel with one of the game's best players, St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt, Bolton managed to keep him to two goals and 15 touches. It was a fine effort considering Riewoldt's blistering season.
Brendon Goddard (St Kilda) – Claimed 29 touches and a team-high five rebounds to jostle with teammate Leigh Montagna for best-on-ground honours. He is now right in contention for this year's Brownlow Medal.

Mark LeCras (West Coast Eagles) – The small forward played further up the ground and was a standout. He claimed a career-best 26 disposals, but still had his goalkicking boots on, jagging three majors.

Jonathan Brown (Brisbane Lions) – Was one of the most damaging players at the 'G on Saturday night with five goals from nine scoring shots. He also took 14 marks and had 15 touches.
Paul Chapman (Geelong) – Kicked a career-best six goals, which included the last two goals of the match to seal the match.
FORWARDS
Robert Gray (Port Adelaide) – Kicked an equal career-best four goals in a fine display, although he could have bagged a bigger haul, considering he had eight scoring shots. Still, he was an important focal point in the win.
Kurt Tippett (Adelaide) – Kicked four goals, won 12 contested possessions, six clearances and 10 hit-outs to be among the best at the Cattery.
Brett Burton (Adelaide) – In just his third AFL match back from a knee reconstruction (he missed the opening 13 rounds), the high-flying 'Birdman' kicked four great goals to keep his side in the game.
