Adelaide could have up to eight players in SANFL league action this weekend.

Nick Gill, named as an emergency for the Crows, is the only player involved in Saturday’s clash at Prospect between North and West Adelaide. He has been named in a forward pocket for the Roosters.

Andy Otten has been named as ruck rover for South in its home game against the Eagles on Sunday. Ken McGregor returns to the Eagles line-up at centre half back while Trent Hentschel has been listed to start at centre half forward and rookie Jared Petrenko in a back pocket. Jarrhan Jacky has been promoted to an extended list on the bench.

Taylor Walker, Norwood’s nine-goal star last weekend, has been named in a forward pocket against Sturt and Aaron Kite will start in defence. Bryce Campbell will miss the game with a minor knee injury.

In the reserves, Tony Armstrong and Greg Gallman will play for North on Saturday and rookie Brodie Martin – best afield last weekend – will line up for Sturt on Sunday at Unley.

Central District, Port Magpies and Glenelg all have a bye this weekend.

Patrick Dangerfield will play for his TAC Cup club Geelong Falcons against Western Jets on Saturday. His next two games will then be in the SANFL with West Adelaide.
