Reason #2: Dan Hannebery's unbelievable courage
Being listed at 182 cm and 78 kg didn't stop Dan Hannebery throwing his body into contests with some of the league's biggest units in 2011.
Whether it was backing back into the hole against Essendon's Michael Hurley or heading front on into Carlton's Matthew Kruezer, Dan didn't give an inch and inspired teammates and supporters alike with his courage. In the contest against Kruezer, Dan even followed up again with a committed smother!
Unfortunately the last memories of the season for Dan were him jogging off the MCG with his shoulder unable to go back into its socket. Luckily that has been operated on and Dan is currently in pre-season training and ready to hit 2012 in full flight.
