With the game in the balance mid-way through the third term, Wells roved the ball from a contest at half-forward, split a pair of Richmond defenders and kicked truly from outside 50m to bring the Kangaroos’ fans to their feet.
It's the second time in as many weeks the number eight has amazed spectators with his brilliance around the big sticks. Against the Dockers he kicked two terrific goals, but was somehow overlooked for a nomination.
