The Brisbane Lions has launched the Club’s most exciting membership campaign as it continues to ANSWER TO THE CALL of its members and supporters ahead of the 2012 AFL Season.

The ANSWER TO THE CALL campaign has been brought to life through the use of strong imagery that urges members and supporters around the country to show their Inner Lion.

An exciting new initiative for the Club, a dedicated membership website - membership.lions.com.au - has also gone live today.

The website will act as a one-stop shop for Lions members, which will simplify the renewal process and ensure our members are up to date with everything that is happening at the Club.

Lions CEO, Malcolm Holmes, said the development of the ANSWER TO THE CALL campaign emerged from the Club’s determination to continue uniting its member and supporter base.

“The purpose of this campaign is to encourage all of our members and supporters - both past and present, to show their Inner Lion,” said Holmes.

“The strong imagery of fans morphing into Lions demonstrates that Pride really is Instinctive.

“There has never been a better time for our members and supporters to ANSWER TO THE CALL.

“Season 2012 is set to be action-packed with the big games against Geelong, Collingwood, Carlton and the Gold Coast all returning to the Gabba next year.

“We also have an excellent fixture for our Melbourne-based members with six games in Melbourne in 2012.

“And, with a young, emerging list, we have a team heading in the right direction under Senior Coach Michael Voss.”

The campaign will introduce new-look membership offerings that are vastly simplified.

These offerings were developed following a significant consultation process with Club members and supporters.

The goal was to enhance the value of memberships and provide greater consistency across seating categories at the Gabba.

With a freeze or reduction in membership prices, the Lions are aiming to stir the Inner Lion in all fans and supporters in 2012.

The Loyal Lions Program, which is the Lion’ membership payment plan, allows members to pay their fees across the season in 10 easy payments.

This is set to be a favourite this year with administration fees being removed and all Loyal Lions going into the draw to win a Hyundai i20.

The Lions are striving to ensure that being a member and avid supporter is easier and more affordable than ever before.
