KEY FORWARD Scott Lucas is back in the Essendon side to play Adelaide in round 11 after an extended run in the VFL with Bendigo, adding some tall timber to help skipper Matthew Lloyd up front.

Lucas comes into the side with Bombers debutant Brent Prismall, along with Courtenay Dempsey and Kyle Reimers. They replace Henry Slattery (hamstring), Jason Winderlich (ankle), Tom Bellchambers (knee) and Leroy Jetta (omitted).

The Crows have made no changes to the side that comfortably beat Hawthorn on the weekend.

Geelong has made four changes to the team that will take on West Coast – Paul Chapman, Tom Lonergan, Mathew Stokes and Ryan Gamble have all been included. Out go injured tall defenders Tom Harley (hamstring), Harry Taylor (ankle), with David Johnson and Max Rooke – who was knocked unconscious in the third term last week before going back on in the last – omitted.

The Eagles have lost a tonne of experience with Daniel Kerr (suspension) and David Wirrpanda (hamstring) both forced out, with Matt Priddis and Matt Spangher the inclusions.

The Hawks have recalled Norm Smith Medallist Luke Hodge to take on the Sydney Swans after he missed three matches with an adductor injury, and Brent Renouf is also in. Youngsters Jarryd Morton and Brendan Whitecross have been dropped to make way.

The Swans have made just one change to the side that got flogged by the Bulldogs last week, with Craig Bird in for the omitted Luke Ablett.

Hamstring tendonitis has forced Hamish Hartlett out of the Port Adelaide side to play Fremantle – his place in the 22 by has been taken by Nick Lower, while Jason Davenport has now been named as one of the three emergencies.

North Melbourne has altered its emergencies for Saturday's match against St Kilda, with Aaron Edwards replacing Todd Goldstein. Fremantle has done likewise for its game against Port Adelaide, with Michael Walters replacing Daniel Gilmore.
