Congratulations to Hawthorn supporter, Danny Koleski, from Point Cook who has won a fantastic three day getaway to Tasmania. The package includes; airfares, car hire and accommodation.
Over 1,000 supporters entered the competition and answered the question ‘In which state of Australia will you find the famous Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake?’ – the answer of course is TASMANIA!
The competition was run by Hawthorn’s major partner, Tasmania, who has given Danny and his family the chance to take in the sights of the State.
Danny last visited Tasmania in 2001 and said he is looking forward to relaxing, sight seeing and hiking up Cradle Mountain.
hawthornfc.com.au spoke exclusively to Danny Koleski, who is thrilled to have won the competition.
“I have been to Cradle Mountain and the hiking there is absolutely awesome.”
Danny has been a Hawthorn member since 1994, the time he was old enough to catch the Glen Waverley train by himself to watch Hawthorn play. He says the partnership between the Hawks and Tasmania is another great reason for Hawthorn supporters to take a holiday down south and support those businesses that support the Club.
“I think its good to have the (Tasmanian) community supporting the Club and I would like thank Tasmania and Hawthorn FC for the prize.”
