Geelong midfielder Tim Callan has added the Cats’ VFL best & fairest award to his premiership medal from the weekend.

Callan out polled Charlie Gardiner and Jason Davenport to claim his first best & fairest. He finished second in voting in 2003 and third last season.

Callan polled 139 votes to win from Gardiner on 126 and Davenport on 102.

Liston Trophy winner and premiership captain James Byrne finished fourth with 70 votes.
