Communications & Events Coordinator, Greater Western Sydney Football Club (Team GWS)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join Team GWS in the role of Communications and Events Coordinator.

The Communications and Events Coordinator is responsible for providing ongoing communications and events support and assisting in the planning, management and implementation of club events.

Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs and Strategy the successful candidate will:
• be responsible for the administration and support for all campaign events
• develop and implement the campaign events calendar
• work at match day functions and special events
• maintain the event database, including invites, prospects and attendees
• prepare reports for event sponsors
• Prepare and monitor event budgets

The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven event management experience
• Strong project management and organisation skills
• A strong understanding of communications, marketing and business disciplines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

An understanding of AFL and a degree in communications, event management or related field is desirable.
