Over 1,250 guests gathered at Crown Palladium on Saturday night to enjoy Hawthorn’s night of nights - the 2010 Peter Crimmins Medal.

Prior to the event, members and supporters in attendance had the opportunity to mingle with players and get signatures during the pre-function signing session.

The night kicked-off by acknowledging previous best and fairest winners to an acoustic performance of the Foo Fighters’ ‘My Hero’ by members from the band Big City Beat.

With Club great and crowd favourite Dermott Brereton as MC, the night had a true Hawthorn feel and prestige. Guests heard from President Jeff Kennett, Senior Coach Alastair Clarkson and Sam Mitchell, who announced he would be handing over the captaincy to fellow teammate Luke Hodge.
