It was the first time he’d been surrounded by people wearing red and white, as he’d spent the previous 10 years as a Brisbane Lion wearing maroon and gold.
Obviously he preferred the Swans colours, and he had a great day out meeting all his new fans.
One of the highlights for Bradshaw was the ‘media’ zone, where fans get to ask questions of the players. One of the best questions came from his own son, as he recounts here to Swans TV.
Bradshaw says it’s time to once again pull out your red and white and get along to Fan Day at the SCG on February 20, 2011.
Bradshaw is a father of four young kids and they’ll all be at Fan Day, enjoying the activities which include footy clinics, face painting, player autograph booths and plenty of rides and entertainment. And let’s not forget the media zone, which will be in action once again.
The entire 2011 Sydney Swans team will be introduced and new senior coach John Longmire and senior players will speak about their preparation for the season ahead.
The Sydney Swans Fan Day is completely FREE and open to everyone. Registering your attendance puts you in the draw to win some amazing “money can’t buy” experiences on the day so click here to register now.
