“Grand Final Frenzy” - Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
1. All current Hawthorn Football Club (HFC) members who have taken out their 2006 membership using either the HFC website www.hawthornfc.com.au or by telephoning1300 042 957 and using the automated payment system between 9am Tuesday, November 1, 2005, and midnight Thursday, June 15, 2006 (Members) will be entered into a draw to win the Prize detailed below (Draw). The cost of a telephone call will not exceed 55 cents per call (including GST).
Draw
2. The entries will be placed in a barrel at Hawthorn Football Club, 34 Linda Crescent, Hawthorn, Victoria, at midday on Friday, June 23, 2006 for the Draw. The first of the Members to be drawn at random from the barrel will win the Prize (Winning Member).
Notification of Winners
3. HFC shall notify the Winning Member by telephone and in writing within two workings days of the draw.
Prize
• Two tickets with premium reserved seats to the 2006 AFL Grand Final at the MCG.
• Two tickets to the Hawthorn Football Club Grand Final Eve Ball event. The ball is an exclusive night offering a three-course meal, beer and wine, as well as quality entertainment the night before the 2006 AFL Grand Final.
• Two tickets to the Hawthorn Football Club Grand Final Brunch. This brunch offers a three-course meal, beer and wine, as well as quality entertainment before the game.
• Total Package RRP $1350.00 (inc. GST)
Miscellaneous
4. Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash.
5. Prize does not include transfer costs, accommodation or meals outside Grand Final functions.
6. All decisions of HFC relating to the Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Winning Member must provide identification in a form acceptable to HFC before he or she collects the Prize and must sign an acknowledgement on receipt of a Prize.
7. The name of the Winning Member will be published in The Australian newspaper on Thursday, June 29, 2006.
8. Entry into the Competition shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
9. There is no fee payable to enter the Competition in addition to any amount charged for the provision of goods and services and www.hawthornfc.com.au is not a premium rate website.
10. The promotion is for the Hawthorn Football Club Limited (ABN 26 005 068 851) of 34 Linda Crescent, Hawthorn, Victoria 3122 (telephone: (03) 9816 2222).
11. If the Winning Member cannot be contacted by midnight on Thursday, September 21, 2006, a replacement winner will be drawn from the remaining entries at midday on Monday, September 25, 2006. This will be a random draw from a barrel at the Hawthorn Football Club at 34 Linda Crescent, Hawthorn, VIC, 3122. Replacement winner will be notified within 2 days of this draw.
12. If the Winning Member is under 18 years of age, he or she must be accompanied to each event by a parent or guardian, who must also hold a ticket to the event (whether the other ticket constituting the Prize or purchased separately).
