Ash: I haven’t watched it yet although I am intending to when I finish answering this week’s questions. I have seen a few unedited versions and they look pretty funny. It’s a bit of fun around the club and from what I gather, I cop a bit of flak on it. It gives the members a bit of a different insight into what sort of blokes we really are.
Hi Ash. I’ve read somewhere recently that you can kick the ball longer at Telstra Dome. Is that true? – Johnny from Victoria Point, Qld
Ash: The air is a bit different in there, but there is no real reason for the ball to travel any further. There’s not much wind and it is dry so the conditions are perfect for dropping the ball onto your boot the right way, but that’s about it.
G’day Ash. This has to be our best chance of beating the Eagles up here for ages doesn’t it? Bill from Mt Gravatt, Qld
Ash: I hope so. They’ve had the wood on us up here for a few years now, but they’re not going so well at the moment. You saw what happened to us in the Melbourne game, and we can’t afford to do that again. Each and every one of us has to be right on our game.
Hi Ash. Mick Malthouse and a few others have been calling for more men on the interchange bench a lot lately. Do you agree with them? – Greg from Eatons Hill, Qld
Ash: I’m pretty happy with the number we have now. If you have too many blokes on there, a few of them won’t get much game time. I’m happy with it – don’t fix something if it’s not broken.
Hey Ash. How was the charter plane mate? Did it have a lounge and a spa? – Dicko from Redcliffe, Qld
Ash: It was a normal plane, nothing too exciting. It broke down at the start and was late coming back, so it had its issues first go around.
