FOOTBALL IN GENERAL
What club did you support growing up?
The Sydney Swans, because I grew up watching them on television up there.

Using one word, how would you describe the life of an AFL footballer?
Hectic.

What is your favourite team to play against and why?
I don't really have a favourite because I haven't played too many teams. Probably the Swans, because playing up in Sydney was a really good experience, being my home-town.

Is the game becoming too fast?
No, I reckon it's becoming more exciting. It's getting faster because the pressure is increasing, which just makes it more exciting to watch because there's more happening. It's something I enjoy, especially the physicality of it.

What is your favourite football memory?
My first game – we played against Adelaide and we came from behind for a five-point win at the MCG, which was good. Can't really go past that.

What would you call the new Gold Coast and West Sydney teams if you had naming power?
The Western Force and I'll go with alliteration – the Gold Coast Gladiators.

If you could be any other player, who would you be?
Chris Judd, because of his status in the game and because everyone looks up to him. And he's just so good.

THE TEAM
Who's the most annoying player to room with when you go interstate, and why?
(Former teammate) Jordan McMahon, because he constantly made this weird noise with his mouth, in between a snore and a burp. It was so annoying.

Who considers himself the most fashionable at the club?
Daniel Giansiracusa. He has a new shirt every week.

Who would be the most unfashionable?
He won't like me saying it, but Ryan Griffen. He wears tracksuit pants and expensive tops and it doesn't match.

Who's got the best singing voice?
Murph (Robert Murphy). He often performs – actually, he consistently performs. But he's pretty good.

What's an amusing fact about one of your teammates that not many people know?
Will Minson wants to know everything. He thinks too much and wants to analyse everything.

If you had to pick one of your teammates to take on a date, who would it be?
I'd probably take Lindsay Gilbee, because he'd shout me. He's a generous guy.

What's the funniest Rocket moment you can think of?
When he told Stephen Tiller he was playing his first game. He got him in the office and was acting as though it was serious, had a go at him for something serious, and Tillsy got pretty scared. Then he told him he was being picked. At the time, he was crapping himself. It was really funny.

Do you have any pets?
We had a pineapple tree, but it died. That was our pet because I wouldn't let my girlfriend get a dog, so we got a pineapple tree to test ourselves and it died. Lucky we didn't get a pet.

What is your most annoying habit?
Snoring.
