Although Watt concedes the Kangas must be at the top of their game to knock off the brilliant Geelong, which has lost just two matches from their past 40 matches, he said it is not impossible, particularly as the Roos got to within 13 points earlier in the season.
"They don't hold a lot of fears for us, although we know that they're going to be very, very good and we know if we don't turn up and play to our full potential that we're going to get absolutely flogged," Watt said.
"So if we turn up and play well, we're going to be a very, very good chance."
The unsung Watt, who was part of a 51-point win over Carlton at Telstra Dome on Sunday, said it was a pleasing result after the Roos were off their game early.
"I think we were just a little bit off the boil in the first quarter and then we started playing how well we could and we weren't that 10 per cent off and we started playing up to our full potential – we really got on top," Watt said.
"Today we cemented a finals spot, which is what we wanted and now with two games to go, you'd think that we'd probably have to win both of them to stay in fourth spot, so it's a big task for us, but one that we're looking forward to having a crack at."
Watt spoke of his team's mid-season turnaround, saying the club's off-field improved focus was the spark for the revival.
"I think it's a bit of a cop-out to say that we had injuries, because I think we've got pretty good depth at the club," Watt said.
"There were some things that were fairly well-documented at the club and we straightened a few things out at the club, which probably weren't quite right and once we did that, our form has really picked up more so than our injuries.
"I definitely think we've improved and I think a lot of the young guys have stepped up a bit – Lachie [Hansen] and Gavin Urquhart – and Andrew Swallow, who played every game last year, he's battling to squeeze in after a few injuries, so it shows we've got a lot of good depth now.
"Last year, we mightn't have had as much, but those guys are really starting to play well and North Ballarat is on top of the ladder and Werribee is sitting in fourth, so it just shows the boys are really putting a lot of pressure on and you have to fight for a game."
