Nearly 3000 fans voted on seven different possibilities, with Didak’s goal receiving 23 per cent of the overall vote.
Didak marked and goaled from around 40 metres out with less than a minute remaining in the round 20 Friday night clash with Port at AAMI Stadium, sealing a thrilling two-point victory for the Magpies and all but ensuring a finals berth. The match was also Nathan Buckley’s club-record 154th game as Collingwood's captain.
The memorable ANZAC Day victory over the Bombers and Dale Thomas’ first season were equal second with 18 per cent of the vote, closely followed by the massive 102-point victory over Geelong in round eight (17 per cent).
Bucks’ six-goal effort against Brisbane in round 10 attracted 11 per cent of the vote, as did belting the Blues twice, while ‘other’ was voted by three per cent of fans.
