The Mater Foundation’s prostate cancer campaign kicked off in a winning way with the ‘One Day in September’ Breakfast held on the 12 September 2008.

There was plenty of entertainment at the event which was also attended by some special guests including Lions triple premiership player Chris Johnson.

The campaign aimed raise $5 million to support the valuable work of the Mater Medical Research Institute (MMRI) in its search to find better prostate cancer treatments – and ultimately a cure.
