Travis Cloke is free to take on Carlton on Sunday after accepting the match review panel's offer of a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.

Cloke was charged with misconduct for making contact with his head to the face of Melbourne’s Matthew Warnock on Monday at the MCG.

"It was a little bit upsetting to see the charge laid in the first place, but to be able to play this weekend is a great thing," Cloke told collingwoodfc.com.au on Wednesday.

"I always look forward to playing against Carlton for many reasons, but to play against my brother Cam again, for the second time in one year, is exciting in itself.

"It was a pretty straightforward decision. I'm not going to win the Brownlow, so it didn't really bother me in that way, just to be able to play every game this year was my main focus."

The incident, which occurred during the second quarter of Collingwood’s 21-point triumph on the Queen’s Birthday holiday, was assessed as as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).

This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.

Cloke had no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.

After his stunning Copeland Trophy victory in 2007 at the age of just 20, Cloke has played every match in 2008 for a career tally of 66, and has booted 18 goals in 2008 for a career total of 73.
