Geelong captain Cameron Ling has lauded the Cats strong leadership from many players.
Speaking on CATS TV’s FRIDAY CONVERSATION, Ling said taking over as skipper from Tom Harley had been made easy by the many leaders among the playing group.
“I was fortunate taking over as captain,” Ling admited.
“Harls had done such a fantastic job as captain, but the real strength is the leadership group, and not just the leadership group, but there are another 6-8 guys on top of that who are strong leaders who drive the team. It wasn’t like I had to come in and reinvent the wheel.”
