Following a further medical assessment the Melbourne Football Club wishes to advise that Cale Morton will miss the next eight to ten weeks of football.
Cale tore his posterior cruciate ligament during the NAB Challenge match against Essendon on Saturday.
General Manager of Football Chirs Connolly said, “This is obviously disappointing for Cale and for the team. Cale is a vital player for us, and while this is a short-term hiccup, we look forward to having him back to complete a critical mass of the 2010 season.”
