Last night the Club’s Debt Demolition coffers were boosted when Debt Demolition supporter, Foxtel, presented the Club with a cheque for $100,000. FOXTEL had promised to match the first $100,000 of supporter donations dollar for dollar.

 

Jim Stynes said, “FOXTEL have been a terrific supporter of Debt Demolition. Their contribution has been fantastic for our supporters, knowing that FOXTEL would match whatever donation they made.”

 

Members and Supporters have continued to rally behind the Club. Last night, the Club’s naming rights partner Primus, gave the Club use of one of the Primus call centres for a Debt Demolition Telethon. Players called members and Supporters throughout the night and raised an additional $42,000.

 

The outstanding telethon result and FOXTEL contribution takes the Debt Demolition fundraising total to $2,6million.
