Living more sustainably is easy to do - and some very simple changes can make a big difference to the environment and the future. It doesn’t take much to reduce your impact on the environment

Over the next five weeks Andrew Swallow will share his tips for living more sustainably.

To reduce the amount of rubbish going to land fill - I recycle paper, cardboard aluminium and steel cans, bottles and recyclable plastics in the council bin. Food scraps are composted and used on the garden (which plants love).
As well as the waste you can put in your recycling bin at home, you can also recycle electronic goods (eg mobile phones, printeres, computers and computer screens). Take them to the nearest Byteback dropp off point or your local council waste transfer station for recycling. Look out for a Mobile Muster to recycle your old mobile phones and chargers.
