The final 1Seven newsletter for 2011 brings with it helpful advice on maintaining healthy behaviours during the holidays. We also provide some timely reminders about making the most of all that spare time.

It’s also a good opportunity to review the year, specifically for 1Seven, so we ask you all to complete a short survey on the program. Your feedback is vital in ensuring the program continues to develop and be relevant.

This month teachers find out how TV and video games can cause Square Eyes for Sore Eyes, while kids can make the most of the warm weather with some Wet Workouts. We also encourage you to Top Up Your Tanks and drink plenty of water, particularly when exercising in the heat of summer. For parents, we have some important information on why Lazy Summer Days Hurt Teens and how Home Exercise Helps our kids to remain active as often as possible.

Finally, we wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and we’ll see you all in 2012.
