ST KILDA has decided to challenge the one-match suspension offered to defender Zac Dawson by the match review panel.
The tribunal hearing will take place at AFL House on Tuesday night, starting at 5pm.
Dawson was cited for punching Adelaide's Chris Knights in the midriff during the first quarter of the Saints' loss to the Crows at AAMI Stadium.
His poor record meant that even with an early guilty plea he could not escape a one-game sanction.

Richard Tambling will miss Adelaide's round seven clash with Melbourne at the MCG after he accepted a one-game ban for striking St Kilda's Adam Schneider.
Fellow Crows Sam Jacobs and Kurt Tippett also accepted the findings of the match review panel, but they are free to play this week after only copping reprimands.
Melbourne youngster Luke Tapscott is now ineligible for the NAB Rising Star award after he accepted a reprimand for engaging in rough conduct against West Coast Eagle Mark Nicoski.
