The Brisbane Lions A.F.C, arguably the AFL's most successful team and brand over the last decade, is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Consumer Products Manager to become a valued member of their team. The Brisbane Lions A.F.C has diverse service offerings, an ever increasing profile and strong brand.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Consumer Products Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, Supporter Services, you will be directly responsible for the delivery of the Brisbane Lions’ merchandise program including merchandise sales through both our retail and online channels. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring all customers are provided with an efficient, friendly and high quality service, with any enquiries being addressed effectively and professionally
• Design and delivery of all retail product ranges
• Manage the ordering of stock with AFL licenses and official on field suppliers
• Manage the Club’s retail shop fronts for Game Day and fan development events, including off site events
• Oversee the effective management of your team of full-time, part-time and casual retail staff including rostering adequate staffing numbers on Game Day
• Setting and achieving the revenue targets

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the management of retail operations, preferably in the football or sporting industries. Knowledge of the AFL and its licensee program is preferred but not essential. You will have a friendly, professional and helpful disposition with the strong ability to lead, manage and work with your team to achieve success. You should have sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and strong attention to detail. You must possess a current manual drivers licence.


A competitive salary is on offer for the successful candidate. General business hours will be from 8:30am - 5:00pm Mon -Fri, however match day participation and some interstate travel will be required.
