MORE than 80,000 fans are expected to attend the blockbuster match between Collingwood and Geelong on Friday night, but the Melbourne Cricket Club advises that Yarra Park will be closed.

The car park is closed due to the poor weather, however, access will still be provided to the following:

· Those with a valid disabled parking permit.

· MCG event staff and catering staff.

· Yarra Park car park pass holders.

· Those with a valid accreditation (eg: St John Ambulance, Victoria Police and AFL-accredited media).

Vic Roads have advised the club that there will be four lanes open on the West Gate Bridge in each direction at the key times when people will be heading to and from the footy.

There will be four lanes open, in-bound on the bridge until 8pm (after the crowd has safely arrived) and there will be four lanes open, out-bound, until midnight.

V Line will be running their special Footy Trains on Friday for the clash from Geelong.

The AFL wishes to advise that just over 3000 undercover seats remain on sale.

The MCC advises those attending the match to allow plenty of time to arrive at the stadium and to take public transport where possible. Public and AFL gates will open at 5.30pm and the MCC Members Reserve will open at 5pm.

Standing room tickets are on-sale for AFL members, while limited visitor tickets for MCC members remain available.

Geelong Cats and Collingwood club members with general entry entitlements to the game will be able to access any remaining seats or standing room areas by scanning their 2011 club membership card at the gate, which will be strictly subject to capacity.

General Admission tickets are not guaranteed to be available for sale on match day. Tickets are on sale through Ticketek on 132 849, at any Ticketek outlet on online at ticketek.com.au.
