We have had a long hard look at our business model and are developing a new strategy which will see our club prosper well into the future. Within that strategy we have identified a number of key commercial opportunities which, together, have the ability to transform our financial position over the next few years.
We have already received some valuable support from the AFL and SANFL and will continue to work closely with them in the finalisation of that new business model.
Central to our business are our people and systems. A few weeks ago we were delighted to receive a major investment from Gordon Pickard, through his company Lifestyle SA. That support will enable us to employ a number of new people in our corporate, community and marketing areas, with a focus on achieving long-term growth.
We also saw a number of other new partners join us during 2009, including BetEzy (TeamBet), BBX and Digislide, and reached a new long-term agreement with Reebok. All of this additional support is vital to us, and we thank you.
One particular highlight this year was the introduction of our new LED signage at AAMI Stadium. This has proven very popular and effective for our partners, with the exposure value of the signage showing significant growth compared to the previous static signage. We are now taking expressions of interest from parties to take up some available LED time for 2010, although this is limited, so be quick.
Our planning for 2010 is now well underway, and we will have some exciting additions to our game-day hospitality options which we look forward to sharing with you. In order to assist us in our planning we would also appreciate you taking the time to complete our Corporate Partner Survey which you should have received recently.
Finally, I cannot emphasise enough the value of your commitment to our Club in this difficult economic climate. Thank you once again, and we look forward to seeing you as we build up to 2010.
