Josh Fraser, Alan Didak and Sean Rusling have all been selected for Saturday night’s elimination final against Sydney at the MCG.

All three return from injury and significantly bolster the Magpie line-up as the club sets itself for its first finals victory since the preliminary final of 2003.

Fraser has missed three weeks with an ankle injury, while Didak missed one with a hip problem and Rusling returns after also missing a week. The young forward had complications with a corked thigh sustained late in the round 21 triumph over the Swans, but is ready to go.

Ben Reid, Rhyce Shaw and Chris Bryan have been omitted, while Paul Licuria, Shaw and Bryan are the three emergencies for the match.

Sydney, meanwhile, has brought back co-captain Barry Hall, with midfielder Luke Ablett out with a knee injury.
