The Crows' selectors will earn every cent of their pay cheque this week. Tagger Rob Shirley will be available after two weeks out with a hamstring strain and Nathan Bock (heel) and Nathan van Berlo (back) will also try to prove their fitness at training on Wednesday. Van Berlo will earn an automatic recall provided he completes training, but Bock is no certainty having spent six weeks on the sidelines.

Brisbane Lions
Last week’s late withdrawals Joel MacDonald (back) and Josh Drummond (quad) will undergo tests, which could push replacements Rhan Hooper and James Hawksley out of the side. A question mark remains over defender Jed Adcock (knee). Daniel Merrett, Daniel Bradshaw and Simon Black should hold their spots after solid performances despite injury speculation through the week. Troy Selwood and retiring veteran Tim Notting have been reliable for the reserves, and will be fresh after a week off since the twos bowed out of finals.

Collingwood
The Pies will probably have to make at least two changes with Scott Pendlebury breaking his leg early in the game against St Kilda and Anthony Rocca rolling his ankle. Brad Dick kicked five goals for Collingwood's VFL side and is a big chance to return, while Sharrod Wellingham could also earn a recall to add some pace to the midfield. Ruckman Cameron Wood was considered unlucky to miss the qualifying final and could also come back into the side.

Western Bulldogs
The Dogs say defender Tom Williams is rated a '20-30 per cent' chance to come straight into the seniors after overcoming a broken foot, but is likely to play for Williamstown. Brad Johnson and Robert Murphy didn't participate in the group's training session on Tuesday, but are said to be fine. Andrejs Everitt, Tim Callan and Dylan Addison will come into the selection mix after solid performances over the past few weeks.
