The Vodafone Brisbane Lions have made some wholesale changes to their senior team following last week's disappointing ten-goal loss to the Bombers.

Mitch Clark, Justin Sherman, Wayde Mills, Ben Fixter and Chris Johnson have all been included in the 22-man team in place of Jared Brennan, Jason Roe, Scott Harding, Colm Begley and Marcus Allan who have all been omitted.

Clark, who was taken with the club's first round selection in the 2005 National Draft, will play his first match of the season and only his seventh career match. His addition to the forward line is certain to relieve some of the strain on Jonathan Brown up forward.

Both Fixter and Sherman return to the team after one week with the Suncoast Lions.

Midfielders Cheynee Stiller and Michael Rischitelli have been named in the team despite suffering minor injuries last week.

Meanwhile, Collingwood have welcomed former Fremantle goal sneak Paul Medhurst to the team at the expense of Brad Dick.
