Dear Shaun
Fremantle Football club wont be the same without you, you symbolize all that Fremantle members expect from the team, hardwork , dedication, commitment and most importantly the passion. Every week you have given everything to the game you love, we love and respect you for that. We wish you all the success in the future and hope that you are still around the club to celebrate when we finally bring that Premiership home. Hopefully we will beat West Coast on Sunday to give you the departure you so richly deserve.

Thanks again for all your years of service, you will be missed.

Go Freo, Go Shauny Mac- Sharon and Taylor Adams

Shaun,
You have been an inspiration!
Thank you for staying with the Dockers through thick and thin!
You made the impossible possible just by shear guts and determination.

Thanks for every minute you gave the Dockers. – Rosie Willix

Shaun,
We will miss watching you each week but hope we will still see you around the club from time to time. Best wishes with what ever is next for you - Debbie and Trevor Smyth

Dear Shaun
I would like to sincerely thank you for being part of the Fremantle Football Club. I was lucky enough to be at a Sirens function a few years ago when you gave us insight to your feelings at being club captain and fronting the media every week during 2000 - as happens during these type of functions there was talk from various tables but when finally everyone realised what you were talking about I think you could have dropped a pin in the room and heard it land on the floor - you spoke from the heart, there wouldn't have been too many ladies in the room that didn't have a tear in her eye - I know for me it will be something that I will never forget. This make you realise it's more than just playing football. Good luck for everything that you may do in the future - Sandra Kahl

Shaun,

Mate, you are a legend.  You are the reason why I became a member, and why I follow the team week after week through good times and bad – no matter what.  Thank you for being a true leader of the Club, and a true inspiration for us all.  All the best for your future - I really hope that you continue to help our Club achieve the greatness I know we are capable of. Good luck on Sunday, for you and the whole team. Regards and thanks - Andrew Websdane & Family

Dear Shaun

Congratulations on such a wonderful career and thanks for giving so much to Fremantle and it's supporters the last 14 seasons. You have always been so happy to say hello and have a chat and we really appreciate everything you have done for the team and us, the supporters. It won't be the same without you. You are an absolute champion of a person and we wish you every success with what ever you choose to do in the next chapter of your life.
Lots of great memories
Thank you - Eugene, Jo and Stefano D'Orsogna

Thanks for all your passion, energy and commitment over the years Shaun.
You're a credit to the game, the club, your family and most importantly yourself. Good luck with your next chapter in life and no doubt you'll land on your feet with whatever you end up doing. Congratulations on a fantastic career and we look forward to celebrating your achievements (and a Freo win) on Sunday afternoon!

Kind regards - The Frost Family

Shaun,

You are a legend, a hero of the Fremantle Football Club
You have been an inspiration to all those who have watched you not only through your guts and determination on the field, but also the way you have fought back time and time again when things didn’t go your way.
You are the heart and soul of the football club, and personify what it means to play for the jumper and to have pride in the jumper. Fremantle always talks about passion and you show that every time you pull on your boots
I hope you win the Glendening Medal this Sunday and I will be in the stands giving you a standing ovation much like the other 45000 will be too, but I know all you will be caring about is the team result because that’s the type of player you have always been
I wish you all the very best in your future, and thank you for all the memories it has been an honour and a pleasure to watch you play over the last 14 years. – Matthew Azzollini

Dear Shaun

You have been an inspiration to so many Docker fans over the years including myself here in Adelaide. I am lucky to have had the privelege of meeting you once after training. Thank you and best wishes to you and your family for the future. – Justin Ives

Shaun,

What an amazing contribution you have made to the club. A great footballer and a genuine and friendly guy!! You will be greatly missed every weekend but I'm sure we'll still see you around the club! What a great game to go out on eh!! Go get em!! We all love you!! - Kate and Danie

All the best

My first Derby was when your got hammered by Wirra then got up and kicked a goal!!!! Being from Canada and living here now, that was one of the best moments in sport I have seen. It turned me onto AFL and I became a member of Fremantle. I spread the word to everyone back home about Freo. I like your courage and I like the way to go about your sport. I teach and coach and I tell my kids that hardwork will get you through...you are a great example of that.
All the best. Loved your work. Hope to see you around the club and at games.
Freo needs to develop its tradition and you are the tradition now! - JT

Dear Shauny Mac,
Congratulations on such a wonderful football carer, you have been a fantastic player and have given your all every week. You have been with the footy club since the very start and have seen the football club through its hard times and good times. My mum and I have been supporting Fremantle since the very start and have loved the football club since, you have been one of our very special favourite players and you are going to be sadly missed out on the footy field, i think that you hold a very special place in every Dockers Supporter's hearts. You have represented everything in a Fremantle player and most importantly that was passion for the team and for winning the games that came our way. Even though mum and I couldnt be there on Sunday we were watching it at home and everytime you got the ball not only would the crowd cheer on TV, but mum and I would be cheering like crazy, and oh boy were we ever hoping that you would get the ball and kick a goal one last time. But the more important thing is we beat West Coast and thats a better send off more than anything! Once again you will be sadly missed by every single Dockers Supporter out there, i only wish that it was in two weeks time when we play St Kilda that it was your very last game, seeing us beat them and seeing you play for the last time would have been a great birthday present, but it wasnt to be! So hopefully the boys can do it for my birthday and beat St Kilda.

I wish you all the best for your future and hopefully you will still be around the football club (even though it cant be on the footy field) for many years to come!!

GO FREO AND GO SHAUNNY MAC!!  - Sue and Tracey Hollington-Kensington
