Four MELBOURNEfc players were special guests at Berry Street’s annual Foster Care Camp in Anglesea last week.

Clint Bartram, Nathan Jones, Lynden Dunn and James Frawley spent the day away from the rigours of pre-season training, instead taking part in activities including kayaking, body boarding and beach games.

For over 80 children and young people who attended the camp, the chance to take part in activities with the AFL footballers was something that most will remember for many years to come.

Bartram and Jones, who also attended the camp in 2007, were quick to put up their hands to visit again next year, as were Dunn and Frawley.

The Berry Street Foster Care Camp provides an opportunity for families with Berry Street Foster children to take some time out.  For many of these families, it is their only opportunity to take a holiday.

Berry Street Victoria helps 11,000 children around the state every year, and never gives up on a child.
