Founded in 1992 and operating from North Fremantle, Marine and Civil specialise in marine related civil engineering and driven piled foundations with projects throughout Western Australia and Singapore with the most recent projects including the iron ore load out facility for Mount Gibson (previously Aztec Resources) on Koolan Island and the modification of Berth Five at the Port of Geraldton.
Over the last 15 years the Company has been involved in some of the construction industry's most challenging marine related and specialist foundation projects, such as the Underwater Observatory in Busselton and the Cable Beach Artificial Surf Reef.
Other projects include the primary design and construction contractor on the Berth 1 Extension for the Port Hedland Port Authority; the Joint Venture operations with Bauer, the world's largest foundation contractor, on the New Metro Rail Project; and as a major sub-contractor on projects such as the Graham Farmer Freeway bridge piling and Narrows Bridge Duplication piling and pile caps.
With over 100 employees located in five sites throughout Western Australia, Marine and Civil, led by Directors Trevor Poustie (Chairman), John Neylon (CEO), Kay Giles and Alan Sweet, has an annual turnover in excess of $40 million.
