AFL Members will have access to pre-purchase their reserved seating for all matches scheduled at the MCG and Etihad Stadium for Rounds 1 through to 21.

 

The online reserved seat process, now in its fourth year has been designed to meet the demand of those members who prefer to purchase seating in advance for the entire season.

 

To ensure all members have the opportunity to purchase reserved seating via their preferred method, a limited range of tickets for matches scheduled at the MCG or Etihad Stadium for Rounds 1 through to 21 will be open to purchase online only from 9am, Friday, February 26 until 5pm, Sunday, February 28.

 

A maximum number of 1500 reserved seats will be available for MCG matches and a maximum number of 300 seats will be available for matches at Etihad Stadium.

 

Once ticket allocations for each match have been exhausted, AFL Members will not be able to pre-reserve a seat for their requested match until the first Friday of the month for MCG matches and the first Saturday of the month for Etihad Stadium matches, one month prior to the match.

 

We suggest that if members do not wish to reserve seats for the entire season or if they are uncertain of whether they will be attending a match, that the monthly on-sales will be a more suitable option of pre-booking.

 

» Rather than being required to physically type each barcode at the beginning of each transaction, AFL Members can copy all barcode numbers from an email, word document or notepad file and paste into the free format barcode text box

 

» A 'busy' screen will be displayed if the match that you require is not accessible at the time of request, patience is required when using this facility

 

» If the ticket allocations for a specific match have been exhausted, AFL Members will not be able to pre-reserve a seat for the match until the monthly on-sale date

 

» The AFL Membership Service Centre does not open on weekends. If attempting to contact the call centre, you will be put through to the out of hours message or receive an out of office message if attempting to contact via email.

 

» The AFL Membership Service Centre will not be able to assist with reserved seating should there be difficulties with the online ticketing system, with your barcode or if set ticket allocations are exhausted for specific matches throughout the three day sale.

Online only through ticketek.com.au for MCG matches and through ticketmaster.com.au for Etihad Stadium matches.

 

Tickets will not be available via outlets, phonecharge or AFL Membership.

 

A maximum of 1500 tickets per match (with a majority of tickets available on Levels M & Q).

 

A maximum of 300 tickets on Level 1 per match (divided between the front, middle and back of nominated bays).

 

Guest Passes are not available via this process. Guest Passes are available from the monthly on-sales only.

 

The transaction limit is set at 10. This is due to the internet program utilised by the ticketing agencies to retire each barcode being incapable of retiring any more than 10 barcodes at once. AFL Members wishing to purchase more than 10 tickets together for a match will be required to wait until the monthly reserved seat on-sales to purchase via an outlet or via the phonecharge service.  

 

Your 12 digit 2010 AFL Membership Barcode will be required to pre-book reserved seats.

Ticketek (MCG) charges no transaction fee for 'EzyTicket' print at home internet purchases and $2 for all other internet purchases.

 

Ticketmaster charges a transaction fee of $5.75 for all internet purchases.

By clicking directly on the match link, you will not have to search for each individual match that you would like to purchase reserved seating for.

 

Links on the web article will only be activated on the Thursday prior to the commencement of the on-sale.

 

As wheelchair areas and zero priced companion card tickets are not available via the internet, AFL Members requiring a wheelchair space or AFL Members requiring a companion card ticket will have access to purchase through the ticket agencies special needs phone line on 1300 665 915 for Ticketek and 1300 888 081 for Ticketmaster.

 

 

 

 

After the 3 day reserved seat online purchase period, reserved seats will be made available one month prior to the match only.

 

AFL Members will be able to pre-purchase a reserved seat for matches scheduled throughout the 2010 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (home and away matches only) on the following dates:

» 9am, Friday, April 9 for matches scheduled in May*

» 9am, Friday, May 7 for matches scheduled in June

» 9am, Friday, June 4 for matches scheduled in July
