GEELONG has lost another key target ahead of Thursday night's clash with West Coast at Domain Stadium, with Mark Blicavs joining Tom Hawkins on the sidelines.

Blicavs is out of the Cats' line-up with 'soreness', leaving Geelong with a shorter line-up given Hawkins' absence. He is serving his one-game suspension for a jumper punch in round 11 before Geelong's bye last week.

As forecast earlier this week, Rhys Stanley will return to the Cats' side and Jed Bews has also been added to face the Eagles, who will be hoping to break a three-game losing streak.

The Eagles have cut veteran premiership player Sam Butler and also omitted inconsistent forward Josh Hill.

Young defender Tom Barrass will be back to take on the Cats, alongside running option Tom Cole. The Eagles haven't suffered four straight defeats since early in 2014.
