CTV> Santa takes the mic and finds out what Collingwood supporters want for Christmas

On Saturday 13 December over 700 supporters braved the tempestuous conditions to partake in Collingwood’s Christmas Extravaganza held at the Lexus Centre.

The day ran from 9 am to 11:30 am with supporters enjoying a range of activities including playing handball, meeting Santa and getting autographs from the players.

Five-year-old Stephen and his father, Michael, enjoyed the day and took the opportunity to sign up for their 2009 membership.

“It was such a fun day,” Stephen told CTV on the day.

“Dad and I had a photo with Daisy and got autographs from Rocca and Pendles.”

The Collingwood merchandise store was full of activity with many new 2009 guernsey’s being purchased.

Santa and his entourage were out in full force, handing out player cards to the Collingwood supporters.

It was a fantastic day for all those involved and a great way to kick off the Christmas spirit.
