PORT Adelaide dynamo Sam Powell-Pepper has been cleared of any serious shoulder damage, paving the way for his 16th straight game of the season against North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday.
The NAB AFL Rising Star contender injured his shoulder when he delivered a powerful hit during the Power's 32-point win against West Coast at Domain Stadium on Sunday.
Powell-Pepper left the ground, but had his shoulder strapped up and returned to play the second half.
The 19-year-old midfield bull is having an excellent debut season, averaging 17.7 possessions having played every game for the Power.
"Sam will be fine, there's been no issue with him this morning. He's just a little bit sore and he'll work through that," Power assistant coach Aaron Greaves told reporters on Monday.
"He's a young, first-year player that will burst out on the training track first thing tomorrow, ready to go.
"It was just one of those things you see, a lot of players get a stinger in their shoulder.
"He came back and in the second half he didn't show any signs of carrying a sore shoulder and he's woken up fine this morning."
Powell-Pepper, Brad Ebert and Patrick Ryder didn't return to Adelaide with the rest of the Power team.
They've been given extra time in Perth to spend with family and will arrive in Adelaide on Monday night.

The Power have surged back into the top four after staging a second-half fightback to topple the Eagles.
But they won't be underestimating a Kangaroos side that has lost its past five games, including a four-point thriller against Fremantle on Sunday.
"They've been in most games they've been in and had some significant wins this year, so we'll do our opposition work tomorrow and know it's a big challenge coming for us," Greaves said.
"At this stage of the year you'd be happy with a top-four position, but there's an opportunity still to grow.
"The ladder is so tight, you can't look above or below you at any stage, you've just got to keep focusing on that next performance and make sure we prepare really well this week."
