Thankyou Dale Morris for signing our club jumper and backpack at training last Friday. We loved it and we got free tickets to Saturday night's game against Sydney, the first game we have been to this year. We were so happy the Bulldogs won. We hope you get to play this Saturday night.

Dick Wicks magnetic wrist bands. But also suffering every day for 18months with an achillies problem I decided to try it around my ankle. I swear that my ankle feels so much better.For once I'm not limping

Needless to say your retirement from the game is much harder to take than that of the peroxide blonde fool (he who shalt not be named) who was with the club earlier this year (and is thankfully not now!). May you continue to be the great champion you are on the ground and around the club with whatever your future endeavours may be. I hope the boys can get up of the floor and bounce back and get you into a third successive prelim and give you a shot at finally making a grand final. It will be tough with all the injuries but if anyone deserves his players to bleed for them and to put a win at all costs attitude on - surely it is you mighty Bradley Johnson! I roared out with approval when you took on the captaincy. A true professional - missing only a handful of games. A true gentleman - your enthusiastic character such a positive influence. I was glad that you decided to play on at the end of last year, but it was sad to see injury finally catch up with you. You've given your all, Brad - a lot to be proud of. Eighteen men on the field, giving their all, will be the best chance at winning that elusive premiership. I'm still believing.

Brad, I've been a fanatic since I was forced on top of 2 milk crates at the Western Oval from 1992 onwards. I watched your debut at the age of 9 and remember when you Smithy, Darcy, Grant and West were the up and coming saviours of our club at a very dark time. It was the Year of the Dog, and that's the year you came in, its almost as if you've never forgotten how close we came to not being around, and that's how you've always played. Don't let people get to you, remember how much of a champion you are and that your not finished yet. You have games left in you Brad, and perhaps even your best. You kept us alive for a long time, and your role on the football field was only just a part of that. Good lack for Saturday Night, your a champ.

I've just returned from a weekend trip to read the news. Brad Johnson is a player I will always remember because of the way he handled himself both on the field and off the field. I'm only 21 years of age and you were what inspired me to ignore my dad (a tigers supporter) when I was only around 7 and to follow the dogs. Sitting typing this with tears in my eyes. You're an awesome player and most of all a champion person. The game, the Bulldogs have been bettered by your presence and will be poorer for your departure. Won't be the same next year cheering the Doggies on without you. This year especially, you could see the difference in the team when Johnno was tearing down the wing again when you came back after injury. No doubt we'll see your smiling face on the tv screens next year and hopefully you'll still get to see the beloved red, white and blue carry on your respectful, uncomprimising attitude to the best game in the world. May you continue to be the great champion you are on the ground and around the club with whatever your future endeavours may be. I hope the boys can get up of the floor and bounce back and get you into a third successive prelim and give you a shot at finally making a grand final. It will be tough with all the injuries but if anyone deserves his players to bleed for them and to put a win at all costs attitude on - surely it is you mighty Bradley Johnson! I salute you, and you will forever remain one of the mightiest Bulldogs of all time, easily walking tall with the likes of E.J. Whitten, C. Sutton, Sir Douglas Hawkins, T. Johnno - to me you are a shining example of everything that is great about AFL football; no-one has been a greater influence in building my love for the game since I moved to Australia 8 years ago. A champion not only for the Club but the AFL in general both on and off the field. I'm not sure your opponents will miss the 'Smiling Assassin' as you became known. No doubt as one door closes many more will open and enjoy whatever remaining games you play in.

I'm 24 years old, I can't even remember watching my Bulldogs play without Brad Johnson out there. I've been to pretty much all his milestone games.
The 300th stands out where Johnno kicked 5 goals in the second half to pretty much win the game off his own boot, the dvd still gets watched at my place.
Playing footy in the school grounds I always pretended to be number 6. I had some skills but I could never replicate the heart and passion that we saw every week from the real number 6.
Thank you so much for all the memories Johnno, it will be hards seeing the dogs run out with you in the stands. You will always be remembered as a player who got me into this game and the reason I go to every bulldogs game I can to cheer on the Red White and Blue..

Johnno don't worry about what everyone is saying you are our club legend as big as any name at Footscray/western bulldogs. I am glad to have seen you play. Flag or No flag you will be remembered in only as a BULLDOG THROUGH AND THROUGH. your passion and determination is what this club is all about, a one club player for 350+ games 6 all Australians and 2006 All Australian captain... I guarantee you in 50 years time people will look back at this club and along side EJ, Hawkins and Grant, Johnson will be up there as one of the greatest to wear that red white and blue bulldog. My hat goes off to you and although due to being interstate I will join all Bulldogs fans and be standing and cheering for you the day you run out for the last time. I've been a supporter for 60 years and there have been very few players better than you Johhno at the club during my time. You are of the nicest blokes I ever meet and I had the pleasure of doing that on two memorable times.
