ST KILDA'S Michael Gardiner, Stephen Milne and Robert Eddy have all signed new deals with the club.
The length of the trio's respective contracts was undisclosed, but they will all be at the club until at least the end of the 2009 season.
“They were all keen to put pen to paper and are dedicated and committed to the Saints,” coach Ross Lyon said in a statement from the club released on Friday.
“They each bring something unique to the team and we look forward to seeing what they have to offer from season 2009 and beyond.”
The Saints will be hoping to make better use out of ruckman Michael Gardiner next season, who in an injury interrupted 2008, only managed nine senior games.
Milne on the other hand racked up 24 games in a season which saw the Saints reach their third preliminary final in five years. The 28-year-old also booted 60 goals, just five behind club leader Nick Riewoldt.
Eddy, 20, played his first game for the club in round 13, against Fremantle.
The midfielder impressed in his debut with 17 touches and three tackles in St Kilda’s eight-point win and played every game for the remainder of the season.
The signings come as a big boost in a trade period which has also seen the club secure the services of Farren Ray and a round-three pick (No. 48) in the 2008 NAB AFL Draft in exchange for the Saints' first-round pick.
