BOQ SEARCH FOR #1 LIONS FAN
Lions Major Sponsor BOQ today launched their search to find the Brisbane Lions' #1 Fan.

BOQ are on the lookout for the person most passionate, the character most colourful in their commitment to the Club, and the one who most lives and breathes the Brisbane Lions.

The reward for such Lions loyalty will be fan-fare like no other. BOQ is rewarding fans' loyalty and passion for the Club by giving them the opportunity to win the ultimate Lions experience including exclusive access to a Lions training session, seats near the interchange bench alongside the umpires and ground manager, inner-sanctum access on match-day and much more. This type of access into the heart of the Club has never been offered to a non-player before.

Fans can enter themselves by uploading their photos, stories and videos to the official BOQ #1 Fan micro-site - www.number1fan.com.au

Fans will also be able to enter by recording a message at the #1 Fan Locker-Room which will be set up at Gabba Gate 2 prior to the Brisbane Lions' next three home games against St Kilda (this Saturday 10 July), Melbourne (Saturday 31 July) and Adelaide (Sunday 15 August).

The search will officially close on Wednesday 18 August at 5pm and BOQ's #1 Lions Fan will be revealed on Friday 20 August.

LAST TIME THEY MET
The in-form Lions faced an undefeated St Kilda side in Melbourne searching for four wins in a row.

St Kilda's key forwards took control early and gave their side a comfortable 20-point advantage at quarter time.

Daniel Bradshaw was moved into defence to limit the Saints' attack which allowed the Lions to edge within eight points at the main break.

Five goals in the third quarter gave the Lions a slender lead at three-quarter time and an upset looked on the cards. But the Saints rallied to kick five goals in the final 15 minutes to hold off the determined Lions by 16 points.

It was an even team performance from the Lions, although Jared Brennan and Simon Black stood out with their work in the centre.
