While the day is to acknowledge the contribution of all past league players, the club is hoping to make it a family day for not only past players but their families and the families of deceased players who can all get together with others whose link is football in general and in particular the East Fremantle Football Club.
The club has strong links to the Fremantle Football Club, with a big number of current players having come through the ranks at East Fremantle.
Fremantle currently has Sharks-listed players Josh Carr, Steven Dodd, Andrew Foster, Paul Hasleby, Garrick Ibbotson, Shaun McManus, Luke McPharlin, Calib Mourish, Rhys Palmer, Brett Peake and Aaron Sandilands on their list. The recently retired Matthew Carr also plied his trade with East Fremantle before embarking on an AFL career.
