The Hawthorn Football Club is proud to announce a partnership with Odyssey House, one of Australia’s leading drug and alcohol treatment, training and support organisations.

As part of the partnership, the Hawks will provide experiences for Odyssey House clients, as well as financial support and assistance with fundraising items and events.

Odyssey House and the Hawks will also work together to establish a regular home game at the MCG that raises awareness of drug and alcohol problems in the community.

Drug and alcohol problems affect thousands of Australians each year and Odyssey House Victoria’s strong emphasis on families and the community makes them an ideal choice to establish a community relationship with the Hawks.

Odyssey House Victoria CEO, Dr. Stefan Gruenert said, "Odyssey House is very excited about becoming a community partner with the Hawthorn Football Club. Both organisations value the health and wellbeing of young people, and are committed to strengthening families and the general community."

Over 20,000 people and their family members have benefited from Odyssey House’s residential rehabilitation and community based treatment programs, which help people reach their full potential and become meaningfully engaged in work, family and community life.
