Logan, who kicked one of his three 2007 season goals on grand final day, said the Power had their sights firmly fixed on tackling North Melbourne on Saturday.
"It feels like forever since we played there [the MCG] last and we're just excited about going back there and playing,” Logan said.
“We won't be thinking about last time we played there, we'll just be thinking about this week.
"It's the first game we've played at the MCG this year … I don't think there's any psychological barrier.”
Logan’s form has been a major positive for Port Adelaide this season.
The 23-year-old has already doubled his previous best games tally in a single season by lining up for the Power 18 times this year.
The ex-Brisbane Lion has also lifted his possession average to 17 while playing a routine tagging role on one of the opposition’s best ball winners.
Last week Logan picked up a career-high 29 possessions in the big win over Melbourne.
"I think during the pre-season I really set myself for a big year because I knew that if I was to go on in the AFL I’d have to have a big year,” Logan said.
“I had a big pre-season. I worked really hard and that's probably a bit to do with why my year's gone like it has.”
"It's important. On the weekend we had a good win against Melbourne and we're hoping this week we can go out against North and hopefully do the same sort of thing.”
Logan expected the Port Adelaide line-up to stay the same for this week’s clash with the Roos and said it was important the Power finished on a high.
"It will be Shannon Grant's 300th and North Melbourne is going for top four,” he said.
“So it's important for us to go out there and play as well as we can and take that into pre-season.”
