Wingman David Mackay returns from a three-month rehabilitation from shoulder surgery when he plays for South Adelaide in the SANFL on Saturday.
Mackay, who hurt his shoulder in Adelaide’s opening round win over Hawthorn, joins Daniel Talia and Myke Cook in the Panthers’ team to take on Woodville-West Torrens at Noarlunga. For the first time this season, young Crow Brodie Smith will be back with the Eagles.
James Sellar and Jarryd Lyons will line up under new Glenelg coach and former Crow Kris Massie when the Tigers clash with North Adelaide at Prospect on Saturday. Tony Armstrong, who returned to full-time training with Adelaide this week, will be across half back for North.
Aidan Riley and Brodie Martin will be key players for Sturt in the Friday night clash with Norwood at The Parade. Richard Tambling has been named in Adelaide’s 25.
Brad Moran (West) and Ivan Maric (Port Magpies) will face off at Richmond on Saturday if Maric is not called up to Adelaide’s 22 to face Geelong on Sunday.
In the reserves this weekend are Sam Shaw (Glenelg), Will Young (Norwood) and rookies Jake von Bertouch (Eagles), Tim Milera (Port Magpies) and Lachlan Roach (North).
