PORT Adelaide will take its strongest line-up of the pre-season into its clash with Richmond on Thursday night, with Chad Wingard and Charlie Dixon picked to play.
Wingard will play his first game of the NAB Challenge and ex-Sun Dixon will wear the Port Adelaide colours for the first time at Etihad Stadium against the Tigers.
Jared Polec has not been named as he continues his return from a navicular injury in his foot last year, but he did take part in Port's SANFL game against West Adelaide last week.
As expected, Richmond has recalled star Brett Deledio for his first game of the pre-season while defender David Astbury has been named after minor thumb surgery last month.
Forward Ty Vickery has also been selected after he missed last match with concussion.
Key forward Jack Riewoldt, skipper Trent Cotchin and first-round draftee Daniel Rioli are also in the club's 27-man squad.
